Dennis is a Life Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Dennis holds an MBA degree from Butler University and worked as the SVP of HR for a Fortune 500 Financial Services organization. He has over 33 total years experience in the Human Resources field and has owned his own consulting practice, Dunlap HR Consulting for the past 5 years.

Dennis currently works with a number of county governments, small businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Dennis is also currently an Adjunct Instructor at Marian College where he teaches courses in Human Resources Management and Organizational Behavior.

Dennis has also presented programs for the Association of Indiana Counties on Human Resources topics. Dennis is a Past President of the Human Resources Association of Central Indiana and a Past President of the Carmel Clay Chamber of Commerce.

His specialty areas include significant experience with union and non-union manufacturing companies, employee relations, developing employee handbooks and performance appraisal programs and merger/acquisition HR activities.
